Yeah I had that same issue when I installed 4" shackle flip and zero-things. I solved the issue by cutting the tabs off the tube and rotating them (both left & right) up on the tube and then re-welded them. After I got it done I then realized that I had also moved things up high enough so that...

Carry an eye-dropper. One drop of pure non-scented bleach per gallon of water. Been doing this for years on my pack-in trips in the rockies. Keep the water out of direct sunlight and in cool storage. By the way, those storage cabinets are "cool". That Waterlox stuff is great. The beauty...
