    If I were you I would leave the Gimmy as-is and use it. Then find and rebuild a 6.2 or 6.5 engine for the CUCV. Just my 2 cents..............

    When you go to mount the inner fuel neck housing you will need to modify the right side of the housing in order for the door hinge to clear. You will also need to drill a new 9/32" hole in the sheet metal in order to mount the housing to the fender. See attached. Hope this helps.

    I always try to clean and reuse as many original and OEM parts as I can. Some things, I know, just aren't available anymore, but many times NOS parts are available on Ebay. Let me know if I can help source some things and ship them to you.
