Outside antenna is white, inside antenna is black.
Did not paint anything.
The pole is galvanized and no paint either.
Would love to paint the shipping container and antenna pole OD.
That would require at least 10 gallons........@ $70 a gallon for the good stuff.
Can’t justify that expense.
I do but not for online posting.
Basic install.
Very easy and the 30’ pole I anchored to a shipping container.
Doesn't matter on interior antenna placement as long as it’s inside.
Great signal inside no matter where it’s placed.
Worth every cent.
System installed today.
Before,.......not a hint of service.
Now.......full four bars of signal.
The 30’ pole with the antenna attached helped without a doubt.
Well worth the $400 system cost!
Perfect!
Fast
Will work in freezing weather
......and will have the job finished before the eggs and bacon go into the cast iron skillet!!
Your hired!!
System will get installed later this coming week.
Snow/sleet is predicted for Monday and temps barely above freezing for a couple of days after that.
No sense of doing the install in nasty weather.
I know the shelter is designed to keep signals out.
Wanting to see what would work to bring signal in.
I was also thinking about doing the two antennas setup as I mentioned earlier.
It seems logical and is a lot less expensive than the commercial booster setups on the market.
Think I will...
As mentioned earlier, I know there are devices to bring service inside.
What I don’t know is which ones truly work and which ones don’t.
I know a few guys that have used them without much success.
Maybe a member here has built their own system and would share how it was done.
I thought...
While we are miles from town, the signal strength is good
4 bars
Leave door open while I’m inside it’s 2 bars
Close door.......nothing. Not even a hint.
Have S-280 Shelter and cannot receive either cellular or radio signals once inside and door closed.
There are several devices available commercially that are advertised to bring the signals inside, but have read most are so so at best.
A friend spent over $500 on one model and he said it...
