I had the seat pans but the springs were totally shot. I would suggest you try Midwest Military or Vintage Power Wagons. They may have what you are looking for.
Good luck.
Finshed up the canvas bows for the WC today. Hope to install the canvas tomorrow but I am waiting on some strap brackets from Midwest Military. Supposed to be on the way. Also painted the hood numbers and the large star on the engine hood. Almost there and I want to thank all those who have...
The WC51 is functionally completed and runs great. I have attached photos and will try to do a video of the engine running. The only things left are the hood stencils and the bows and canvas. Hopefully they will be done next week. Thanks to all who have followed this thread.
Sorry I have not posted photos but hope to do a decent reveal on Saturday. Busting hump for Independence Day parade entry. Working on.....
Running boards blasted, primed, painted and installed.
Gas can holders completed and gas can straps installed.
Two jerry cans blasted, primed and painting...
Finally got the cargo bed reinstalled on the chassis. Required a little tweaking but not too bad. Also, installed the tailgate, fuel filler neck and fire extinguisher. Engine running fine but do need to address a soft brake pedal. Vacuum wipers work great. Some pics:
Todays work included:
Installed the cargo bed wood and strips and got it all adjusted for installation on the chassis. Also fired up the engine to test all the gauges, lights, etc. Just realized I forgot to test the wiper motors. Fabricated a hold down assembly for the battery and drilled...
Finished the 4th coat of paint on the floor boards and primed and painted the Lazyback support arms. Hope to install the bed board and stips Sunday and then my friend with a hoist truck with help with the install on the chassis. :)
Hoped to get the first coat of OD on the bed wood today but 20 mph winds shelved that plan. Supposed to be 5-10 mph tomorrow. I did install the King Bee mirror arm and mirror and the Corcoran-Brown relectors on the bed corners. I also milled the wood lazyback support arms. More tomorrow.
Installed the wood top sections on the WC this morning. Now to paint the 4 cargo box compartment lids and hardware. Also cut and painted the metal access plate for the fuel gauge sender. Off to Austin now for the weekend to celebrate Mother's day. I could not afford a cardboard cutout like...
Had a chance to do some cargo bed assembly of the parts I have painted so far including the wood  Still working of all fasteners and the rest of the wood. Will do more tomorrow.
Amazing how the light can affect the colors.
