What did you do to your deuce this week?

I really think they shipped a 3mm ferrule... it's just "that close". (frustrating as ....) Bought a 1/8" ferrule and it fit perfect.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I got my exhaust back on, pyro hooked up and tapped, but for the LIFE of me, I can NOT get the tiny brass ferrule to fit over the boost tube... I cant feel my fingers anymore. Are there any tips or tricks to get this little sucker on....? I'm about to get the dremel out and go nuts... (help)

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Put new hub seals on a leaking rear wheel, went pretty easy. Getting ready to order J pipe and flex and EGT and boost gauges. Greased door latches and handles while I had greasy fingers.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Made 3 trips to the brush/tree disposal site. First load of brush had to be unloaded by hand... Then I figured i'd do a "dead head" (or whatever it's called), by wrapping a chain around a 4" log (about 4' long). Buried near the cab, and let them brush site boys tug it out with their skid steer...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Drove my first load of tree limbs and logs to the county site, she wasnt completely loaded to the top of the rails but close and it was packed tight. Best part was the young men unloaded it for me, and it was all FREE. They'll also load you up with free much if you want. Laser temp checked my...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Deuce2, I was calling it a tap, but it's just a much smaller wire and ring connector to the large battery cable. Where someone had "tapped in" for power. (A makeshift terminal in an electric circuit)

What did you do to your deuce this week?

A cheap tap into one of the batteries will leave you on the side of the road... Lucky for me, it was still in my yard. It would not click or even try to start. With the start button pushed, the fuel gauge would quickly move to empty. I looked at all my connections to the starter and ground...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Ahhh... I may have broken the gasket on the fuel pump rack, this would also be part of the problem. Just because I didnt plan to make it "fording safe".

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I'll have to run it harder and keep my spare primary with me. I had the pump out a year ago and took a fuel sample from the very bottom of the tank (parked diagonal on hillside for the weekend) let the sample settle in a glass bowl for a day and there were zero sign of moisture. Seems to be the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I cut my tall stack down to near cab level, put my flapper back on, touched up the black paint. Found that my J pipe is cracked/split and ready to be replaced soon... I thought the tall pipe and tree limbs may have weakened the pipe. (found j pipe for $140. have not ordered yet) Flex pipe will...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Good way to drop and O-ring... I put 6 of the MRAP/396s out of the bed of my deuce, onto a small dirt mound, where i could keep them from falling over, all by myself. Just rolled them off onto a sheet of plywood and hung on... I had 2 lay over, the first one I tried to use my chain fall, and it...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

The NSN# tags on mine said something like 425lbs.... each. That plus a wheel adapter and 10 big fasteners... (but mine are aluminum)

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I changed my trans fluid, found my trans grounding strap was on the wrong side of an air vent line and rubbing, so that was corrected. I was able to get more corn head grease in my winch since it was cold last time and it wouldn't flow.| I banged the mostly empty "00" bottle on my winch cable...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I got my turn signals back, one wire come loose on previous owners blinker mod. I jumped my air switch wires together and brakes light up, so I now I'll change my switch. Function checked my heater blower, and took it for a short spin around the neighborhood. One of my rear hubs still getting...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I used the deuce to build a 12x16 pavilion in our back yard. Sure is nice to be able to work from a 8x13 scaffold (tailgate down). Being able to step up on the bed rails put me up almost 6', so it's really nice to have a very stable work platform to get things done, without being up and down on...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I took a nice little 40 mile cruise, just to keep her happy. I stopped at about 20 miles and checked for leaks and hub temp. Found the drivers side rear/rear hub pretty warm, so i let it cool off for a bit and headed back home. That hub was the one i just put all new seals (inner and outer). It...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I noticed that after putting "00 Grease" in the winch, it pushed out the remaining 90wt that still in the bottom of the gear boxes... I'm hoping this is normal.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I was able to get 2.5 quarts (total) of "00 grease" in my winch yesterday, the temp was low 60s so it flowed ok, I feel like I got about the same amount in each side, filling from the top is tough as it wont bubble without being burped with a finger (or ratchet extension). I'll try and get more...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

it needs to be an "immersion rated" hose, it stays wet on both sides... regular hose is designed for fuel to only be on the INSIDE, so the outside will degrade in the fuel.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That would be a good idea, I found out it will suck air on hills, when you get down to 12-14 gallons left in the tank... (without being mounted lower). That Viton hose is a little hard to find and kind of pricey. I bought a 2' section for close to $50 (and ended up using the one that I already...
