Dude, that is an awesome setup. amazing at the interchange-ability of your systems. I think I need to hire you and send you to the Loggy HQ to show how we can REALLY make these systems truly modular!

    Allison M916 + Mk48 Cab = 6x6 "FEMTT"

It is so hard to not believe that it didn't come out of a Oshkosh Factory like that.... If I could I'd bring it on to base and park it next to an LHS or PLS and mess with fellow Loggy peep's heads all day. Or mess with a company commander about the HEMMT in his motorpool without a proper...

    Allison M916 + Mk48 Cab = 6x6 "FEMTT"

You need to send some pics to Oshkosh asking for some random part number, see the reaction. That thing looks amazing. and very at home with the tanker behind it. Awesome job.

Goldneagle, since the basis is the below truck, the doghouse should actually be that height... or not, it's his build, but normal HEMTTs have their doghouses that high.

Good place for some spare tires too.

    Allison M916 + Mk48 Cab = 6x6 "FEMTT"

Ok, I'll admit I'm not 100% sure without seeing this first hand exactly the issue, However, the first picture attached here.... if those two U joints rotate the wrong direction, is that bolt and nut setup going to hit? It looks like if they both go clockwise about 30-40degrees they might hit...

Roger, wasn't sure about that. thanks for the response.

    Allison M916 + Mk48 Cab = 6x6 "FEMTT"

Wow, this is awesome! Looking forward to some of the engineering hurdles and how you over come them. random question, what about doing a LHS style hook and load vs. doing the crane for the modules? seems like there'd be less work in the swapping and would still enable you to have all those...
