No problem man, it sounded a bit high to me. Should be an easy fix and effective, living in the desert!

Normal OM352 operation should have the thermostat open between 78-80c (172-176f). Not sure if you were implying you have a different thermostat on your SEE or not, but 220f for your thermostat to open doesn't seem right to me.

170 F is on average where your thermostat should open up and the engine should maintain itself. If your not achieving that, your thermostat may be stuck open, in which case you'll have a hard time heating up your engine and certainly your heater core.

The cab heater is coolant actuated, not electric. They can fail with blockage, air bubble, stuck valve, bad thermostat (does the engine com up to temp?)

The directors cut of "This Is Breslau" is much better edited and 30 mins longer than the original release. Both should be up on Amazon.

While I am in no way trying to discount Big Bison's issues with purchasing Unimog's, I have been a long time unimog owner and member of of Benz World and the unimog community as a whole. I feel compelled to step in here and state for the record that Couch is a well respected and trusted vendor...

Funny, as big as she is, the square cab is the sports car of the two. She hauls but! Easily does the right lane on the interstate (60mph). It is a divorced transmission on this series, and as such there is a beautiful overdrive available from Class that would drop the rpm's down 20% which would...

I though it about time to show off my two Mogs. The HMMH is new to me, only had her for a couple weeks. I'm loving having it, finally able to stop figuring out how to "Egyptian" all my heavy crap around the property. So far she's a cream puff, other than the over zealous black spray paint job...

A shovel head under the edge of the tire with a 2x4 fulcrum on the ground does a very good job lifting and rotating the tire just enough to engage the lugs.

Turning up the IP and mounting larger tires are the fastest and easiest methods to juice some more power and speed. It requires a little know-how, but not much, to avoid issues. Turbo charging a 352 is also feasible, thought keep in mind the non turboed 352 does not have underside piston...

Ecellent, thank you. I have been looking for good deals on U-Ship and thought I had a guy, but his driver showed up for the pick up and threw a **** fit stating I misrepresented the vehicles size a weigh, BS. He shows up with an insufficient sized vehicle, that's not my F' ing problem. I'm going...

Hi guys, I'm working on getting my HMMH moved from SLC to Albuquerque. Can anyone confirm the curb weigh of this thing? Is 16,000 pounds accurate? Many thanks. -James

Look over on this thread on BW, about page 4 of the "demystifying the SEE and HMMH". I believe this is what you are referring to. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/unimog/2278922-demystifying-flu-419-see-hmmh-4.html
