    Got a new m1009

Very nice. Now grease the cable and slide area. That will wear and break if it is run dry. Use a finger tip of wheel bearing or chassis grease.

    Got a new m1009

You are not asking me but I just found a 99.9% perfect one and paid $600. American for it. It is a genuine GM and has a bit of damage where the M1009 radio bracket was mounted. So minor but worth mentioning. The guy wanted $750. for it. I thought crazy but I need one for an up coming build. Take...

    Got a new m1009

All good news. Sounds like progress. If you have everything out of the dash and feel like doing a really good job may I recommend the pressure washer. I doubt you will have it in 35 years. I always stuck to the DOT5 and never had any issues. Changing to DOT3 not worth the effort...

    Got a new m1009

I have the parts you need. Just give me a PM. I can get that gear from a parts transfer case. And the support I have that. I probably have every part you need and I am winding down operations here and only have 2 M1009's to complete till I hang up and liquidate all my CUCV parts. Send me a...

Very nice. A little TLC and you will have a nice unit. Parts are available. Shipping is the biggest expense. I hope you can find stuff locally. I have nice back seats but am on the east coast. Good Luck. Be Safe.
