What did you do to your trailer today.

Yes, those are the ones. Tm shows both sides are right. I will need to find left hand equivalent of those washer/nuts to fit the older trailers. Do those lugs have an inside collar to center in the hole? Are they 1-1/2 outer diameter?

Following this as I also got 2 from gp in Mobile reasonable but I did not get to steal them 🙃 The rims are flat on the lug face not tapered. Curious as to which lug nut will work. I have a m107 just older than the m149 but I think the same running gear. My thought was to see what lug nuts are...

@Gimpyrob used to have sides and gates for the m101's. Might be worth a shout out.....

Thanks for the info. I thought it was a m101 prototype of some sort. He did a good fab job!

What did you do to your trailer today.

I had a leak on the clamp style valve and the tire shop did not have replacement rubber seals in stock. To add insult to the problem , they did not have the regular valve either as it has the big hole which nothing in the last 25 years+ uses anymore. I went and got 2 rubber stems and now keep...

I did not buy any as I had a bunch of m101's and prefer them for my needs.

I believe it is the tm on a cd. Ft. Polk had 100's surplused in a few sales in the gl days. Almost all literally new. Sold in sales with 30-40 lots so prices were very reasonable. Wish I had bought a bunch and stored them away..... They had a tm and cd in the gas can holder in a plastic bag.

Gas charged shocks over oe obsolete hydraulic shocks should make a noticeable difference.

The harness is common across many trailer platforms not just m116. It comes with the extra wire I can think to power dome light. In the tm section. I uploaded a document with all the wire numbers as they are a universal numbering system on all military tactical equipment.

That clearance light looks like an Aurora which were I suspect some of the first LEDs. Remember some on the m939's out of shelby had them

Croft trailer sells all the parts. It is a common civy unit. Rust in there probably from a missing master cyl cap. Flush out lines and check wheel cylinders at each wheel. Use DOT 5 as that is what the system is supposed to have. https://www.crofttrailer.com/hydro-act-brake-actuator-parts/

Maybe take the rear one and move forward as you really don't need it unless you are leveling the trailer. Also, One jack is strong enough to hold it up. I know we called Utility tool and got a crazy quote. Maybe they are not as proud of them now: http://uttwi.com/contact.htm My 2 rear legs were...

What did you do to your trailer today.

Is the leg missing or still there and the lock pin bent from someone moving it while still fixed? My XM-1073 (same as m-1061) had 2 missing/bent pin with handles and Goldneagle made me 2 to salvage the legs. We had called the manufacture and got some stupid crazy price...

I had the privilege of a m105 with a 500 gallon bladder roll on it side for me. Even with 300 gallon, those m 1101/2 sit high. The m149 have a lower cradle in the frame to lower the center of gravity on those. Just be careful!

We got one for the Boy Scouts. Originally used for medical equipment, then armories and other specialized purpose. Mostly USN and USMC. I think they have all surplussed out. Interesting as it had electric brakes and civilian lights and a 7 pole wiring harness. Many variations on side panel...

Ditto, I have never had an a2 lock up in reverse. Only time I had trouble was when I picked it up from red river and went to hot springs. The shock was worn out and did not like the mountains when stopping at incline ( hills to you'all) ~ anything bigger than an anthill for me is a mountain :-)

I keep my sides on about 95% of the time without the top. What I like is with the gates folded back when trailer is empty, I can tell the difference in wind resistance. Also make it a snap to load and also long items can stick out with just one gate folded.
