Laid some paint down today. Behr through a hvlp harbor freight gun.

Expanding on my earlier post. Shaved the paint down to bare metal on the cluster and applied copious amounts of this 2 in 1 bond and sealer stuff and put the clust in its hole. Weighed it down with some batteries. Plan to leave it like that till Monday.

Haven't heard percussion cap in a while. Percussion cap, muzzle loaders use these.

What does the primer look like? I've fired blanks that didn't expand so you can't always rely on that. Sometimes the epoxy doesn't set on the end and the powder will fall out rendering the blank a nice noise maker.

Got some goodies in today to spruce up the 818.

I was thinking about going with that but I would like to keep my pintle on all the time. I understand it doesn't take that long to switch between the two, just rather not have to.

I'm still waiting for someone to come up with a turnkey solution for the bobtails. My 818 needs a class V on it.
