Mike, I just read your reasons about why you opted not to use the turbo. I have to say I could not agree with you more. I have a very similar set up in my 1028A1. I have a rebuilt GM 6.5 from a 94 K2500. I too removed the turbo and am running the same intake. I have a 4911 pump also that I...

Good work Mike that looks awesome. You are 100% correct on the centrifuge filter. They work great. If you ever search oil filters you will be shocked how bad of a job they actually do. Very few companies will even tell you what their beta ratio is. Much less how many microns they filter. That...

The pics look good mike. So far what is your opinion of them? How is the quality? Do they look heavy duty? Do you think they will last?

Mike, I just went out to the garage and measured one. It is .215 thick. So 1/32 less than a 1/4 inch.

Measure the thickness of you bolt head. I know flange bolts can be pretty thick. The OEM bolts are very thin. This is so they can clear the torque converter. If the ones you have are too tall, the converter will hit them before the hub enters the crankshaft bore. This would also keep the bell...
