Checked my MRAP light to find out why the fronts weren't working. Turns out the plug was almost out.... I found that out AFTER I had dismounted two of the front top ones.
The center top just buzzes, so on a other day ill pull it, open it and figure out why, so right now its the only inop one...
Ok, not a video, but I took pics.
Pressing out the old bushing note the plate on top to protect the grooves for the retaining plate on the new bushing:
Literally flip it over and line up your retaining plate:
And all seated... it took longer to align everything than press it:

I'm in the process of changing out torque rod bushings, and I have to say, this tool from Big Mike's makes ALL the difference when pressing them out/in.
And while I wait for some more stuff to come in, I went ahead and stenciled Berthas registration on her so it can be seen more clearly by...
Apparently I can't keep Bertha together.... or she is conspiring to keep me from working on the M37....

I'm not familiar with the Amazon kit, but I can for SURE tell you they light up the world!
And the search lights are just as bright
Also, I'm pretty sure the Amazon kit doesn't have infrared.... (cell phone cameras can pick up IR).
It also has a dimming function on the controller...
When I bought my 5 ton, I couldn't get the back sliding windows open for **anything**.
Started prying and thought "that's a good way to break glass", so what I did was remove the entire assembly, took the window frames apart (4 bolts, very easy), removed the glass and gaskets from the frame...
I also unfolded to clean my cargo cover, and in the process found the back panel threads had completely dry rotted, so I brought the cover to a local awning repair place to have it resewn
While not a "top of mind" issue, theft of an MV is always a worry, and I had "buy locking door handles" on my to-do list... well, a couple weeks ago a friend sent a Facebook link about a 5 ton stolen from the next Parish over and is still missing, so it went to the forefront of my thoughts...
