    My tank was the M60A1 Rise Passive. It had a heater which was usually broken, but even if it was running, it took almost all day to heat up the insides due to the amount of metal around you. That is a really large heatsink ! The commanders also didn't like personal heaters on when the tanks...

    Well as an "ex-Tanker" I can tell you it can be bitter cold in those tanks ! Your looking at over 60 tons of steel which can hold a lot of cold !!!!! In winter there never warm and cozy. Takes almost three days to get them warm onside, and then some idiot officer tells you to shut them down as...
