    When I was driving my 78 C10 with dual tanks, I would run one down to near empty, switch over to the other side and immediately stop and fill the empty one. That way they were never empty at the same time.

    I like the seat mounts you made. The build quality is superb just like everything else on this truck. Just curious, what are you going to do with the factory bench seat? If I remember correctly, it is like brand new. I am interested if you think you might want to sell it. Thanks.

    I meant to ask where you got the nut-serts for the antenna mount. I am currently looking for a dual fuel tank bed for mine and want to put the antenna mounts back on when I find a nice bed. My bed has the normal forklift damage on both sides and I really want dual tanks.

    Very good observation cpf240!! I had not thought about that. I believe wooden dowels would work in the absence of the plastic pins. Can't skimp on safety in my opinion. My Uncle was impaled by the steering column on a Pinto in the 70's. He didn't make it.

    Very nice truck sir. I am on the fence about the tires but they do make it look very aggressive. I like the black interior, much better than the burgundy. Nice photo essay of the build. Very well documented for our viewing pleasure. I wish I could afford the rear disc, sweet conversion, maybe...
