    I found out about this stuff from Peashooter's excellent thread on M35 brake lines... It is a sticky. Also read Recovery4x4's power bleeder sticky and you can bleed them by yourself!

    In the past week, I removed the 4 rear axle brake lines that had rusted badly. My employers snow removal subcontractor receives free salt and prefers to use it excessively in order to reduce plowing (The parking lot is actually white from the dried salt before the spring rains wash it away!)...

    Took the Brushgaurd (radiator grill) and botton plate off. The bottom plate was only hanging on by 1 screw since I got the truck. Hammered some of the dents out (wasn't too successful - that steel is strong!). Wire brushed the rust spots and modified the bottom plate for license plate mounting...

    Installed a new thermostat and a block heater. Replaced the wiper blades and companion seat bottom. Checked & verified proper operation of the Air Dryer heater. Drove it to work today. Woo Woo! :doghead:

    Paid state taxes, applied for title and plates. Put temporary plates on it along with the bows and tarp and drove it to work on Thursday and Friday. Funny how nobody pulls out in front of you when you are driving one of these! :jumpin:
