What did you do to your deuce this week?

Oh, ok - didn't realize who you were! Yeah, you definitely need a hard wood for strength and less shrinkage.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I know what a job that is! Looks real good! I reworked mine on the bobber last year using white oak from a local sawmill and new hardware. My brother coated them with spar varnish for a different look.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yeah, I remember asking you about it before we did ours. Yes, we used the front suspension on the rear - front hangers. We still haven't installed shocks though - that is on the short list though.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Thanks! You know, there have been quite a few people that have said the same thing lately - I appreciate all of the positive comments about her - that makes me think that my brother and I did a good job with the bobbing! We were going for the g506 (ww2, 1.5ton, single axle truck) look. It is...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I took the top off and hauled off trash.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I sure could've used one of those when loading all of those deuce tires the other week before the Denton rally! I guess the tractor/boom pole worked ok, but was still a lot of work!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I have a pond stocked with largemouth and bream literally 50' from the back of the house, but haven't fished in 2yrs!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Mine is metal on metal, but doesn't leak. Maybe I'll try to find some kind of gasket

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Supposed to have a copper washer? I guess I had better try to find one of those then! Mine doesn't leak though.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I got my electric brake controller and 12v accessory plugs installed and working last week. Today, my brother and I machined the front spring perches to correct the skittish front end problem that has bugged me since we switched to G177s. The hardest part of the job was figuring out how to...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yeah, I just posted that picture to show the shiney new batteries and how I mounted the fuse holders and ran those cables to the batteries. Those are supposedly waterproof fuse holders. I have a 60 amp fuse (Vanner spec'd an 80 amp, but Radio Shack didn't have one - should be fine for the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Installed my Vanner 60Amp battery equalizer, 2 new Napa group 31 batteries and a 6 circuit 12v fuse block installed. Took a 60 mile round trip ride today. Plan on getting my Tekonsha electric brake controller and 12v outlets installed this coming week if the weather holds out.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got it started up with a jump from my m38a1 - wouldn't charge after it was idled up, so I guess I need to go ahead and replace those batteries I have been putting off buying (they died when it for slightly cold outside).

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got in it to go for a ride - batteries dead! I knew they were old, but have been driving it regularly to keep them charged. I guess this little bit of cold weather did them in. Oh well, I don't have time to mess with it this week.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yep - and mine is painted with Gillespie tan. Diluted Purple Power takes it off easily. Mine needs washing now.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I know what you mean - I just did mine a few months ago. Lookin' good!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

The install was really pretty easy - drilling the hole in the dash was the hardest part I thought. They adjusted out pretty quickly. I haven't used them yet, because I have to order new blades - unless somebody knows the Anco part numbers for the arm/blade upgrade. My air wipers did just the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Knocked out a few more upgrades today: - I installed a new 2.5# Amerex fire extinguisher and bracket on top of the tunnel beside the shifter. I also removed the old bracket from the side of the tunnel. - I upgraded the windshield wipers to electric ones off of an a3. Fairly easy upgrade - the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I knocked out a few thing that I have been wanting to do: - I upgraded my old rusty battery box to the plastic type that I bought at the Georgia rally. I heard that the Group 31 batteries wouldn't fit, but they do if you remove the locking handle screws and install them from the inside - at...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Hey Ralph, how did you do your battery connections? I converted ours to the civvy 24v alternator and also bought the 12v brackets at the same time, but haven't installed it yet. I was thinking about adding a fuse block under the dash or hood.
