Ok, Long week.
Spent most of the week at the southern mvpa rally in Bellview Fl.I worked the event (registration) and all around runner for anything that needed to be done.
A couple of quick notes, I spent a LOT of time with Tom Murray from TNJ Murray , Great guy also with the owner of RIV RADJust as nice as can be. These guys want to hear from you , What you need they want to stock the right stuff so you have it quick.
I learned a great deal from both gentelmen this weekend!

The A-2 has gone to the body shop and has returned ! She will recieve her new colors Next weekend.
The fun begins when the paint has had a few days to harden .
Re asembelly will start as soon as March 1st

The truck will have a final coat of primer layed down this week and off to spray 2-3 finish coats of 383

Well it's been 6 weeks since i got her home!
Today we pulled it out of the spray booth.Color will take a few weeks to SETTLE, wich is fine with me.
I have to order new flexable brake hoses, wireing harness, thermostat, belts, lower radiator mounts, and all new rubber parts.

A long tough week,got her back from painting! (MY wife & I hate the color!!!!! Went with 383 (NO WAY ) gotta go Forest green (MARINE) colors!
GOnna set us back a week, but hey , right is right.
Were not on a time schedule, take it a part mask it, and shoot it the correct color.





Allways have 3 weeks built in to your build!
If you don't know what i'm talking about , hyou;ll figure it out!

The man rolled up on my 6 and was ready for action!
Was just pushing the project speciman out the barn doors!
My High security gate goes off and their stands A-J -Ready for battle against, RYAN (A JACKrussle Terrior) .

He fended off such a BEASTLY beast! Good Work my man!
NOW on to the resto!
A-j helped in getting the engine mounts to line up and finjally getting all 4 corners to line up!

Hey there. Think on those dash supports you could fab a straight piece of channel that I could notch out and bend?If it was like a half inch on one side and 6 or so inches on the other I could cut it and place in triangles and the areas where the bend is. Think that could work?

Give me a week and i'll figure it out. All the guys got called up 3 weeks ago to go up north to work on the Hurricane Sandy mess!
I've been stuck here alone and trying to get this project out of the way before I have to go back Painting for outback Rest.

Thanks To Highfavor for coming to the rescue on SAturday!
Walking out of the shop dialing his # and their he is AT THE GATE! We got the Power pack in and found out the clutch was rusted solid!
Dry fit a lot of parts on Sunday before the Daytona race.

Kicking back and WHO walks in . no one other than the infamous RAYZOR, (Dude I wanna check your ride out!) A few beers latter and his wife is asking when is he going to get her a 1/4 ton? ( ALLWAYS NEED A CONVOY lead truck)

BAD CLUTCH, never saw something so rusty, Ken the Mutt Guru(MY SAVIOR) said keep it and clean it up get it redone, "thats a fiber clutch plate , they don;t make those any more " the copper ones grab to quick and allow for no SLIPPAGE!

Finish product, 4 hrs latter! Ready for reassembly, got to get to napa and get the right dowl set so thiers no crying when we mate the Bell housing to the short block.
