Hey all,

My dad found an m151A1 for sale locally the other day, and is curious about whether or not it is a good deal and and what he should pay for/stay away from.

The vehicle is a 1/2 cut, which we realize takes away from the value right off of the bat, but withstanding that, what would be a good price for a 1/2 cut in decent condition with a fording kit?

Albeit they are not the best pictures in the world, here are the pictures that my dad took while he was looking at the truck.

tell me what you all think! Personally I feel that the price is a bit northward of what it should be, but i do not have much experience in m151s.2013-03-12_12-11-39_140.jpg2013-03-12_12-12-02_492.jpg2013-03-12_12-12-25_444.jpg2013-03-12_12-12-35_480.jpg2013-03-12_12-12-55_500.jpg

You did not say what the asking price was so will just have to speculate. It looks really sound on the outside and appears to be in good shape. If its not rotted underneath I have seen ones in worse exterior shape bring $4000.00.

That is the issue, he is asking $8500 for the truck.

This is just my opinion so others may vary. That seems a little steep to me for a cut 151. If everything else is in excellent condition it may be worth it but I have seen uncut and restored start at $10500.00 and up.

Take a good look at the underside, the usual cut is just in front of the seats. Does the electrical work in the rear, tail light and trailer recpt. $8500 is a bit steep. Look real close!
