Numbered for easier reference (I hope). If anyone see's anything wrong please feel free to point it out. I know very little (so far). I imagine after this gets going I'll be an expert. I seem to have got the pick of the litter.

In pic 1 just pointing out no hood.
Pic 2 wire out of no where
pic 3 nothing specific (what do you guys see that I'm not)
pic 4 there's some sort of dangling plug
pic 5 master brake cylinder with hose popped out
pic 6 clutch and brake reservoirs missing/damaged caps. I have found new caps online. Are they the same for both bottles? Any good way to tell which wires go to which bottle?
pic 7 no clue
pic 8 I have found replacement relays for $8 each. Would gladly pay less if anyone knows where.

Pic 9 is this typical?
pic 10 does the cover prevent corrosion? Do I really need a cover?
pic 11 Loader and PTO hoses all look like this. Backhoe Hoses have all been replaced more recently and look good. I'm guessing these are going to cost a pretty penny.
pic 12 Is there a rubber seal missing?

Did it come from the military like that, or a private seller that gave up?
Pic 4 dangling plug is there for the diagnostic system and not needed.
pics 6 and 12. You are missing a rubber grommet, and the only way I know to get one is with a $800 master cylinder. But you will need one anyway because it is rusted up after having no caps and no hood. You don’t have to get the new caps unless you want an indication when fluid is low. I bought a cap for a 1970’s Mercedes car for $7
pic 8 I bought a bunch of relays for the one I scrapped out. $6 ea. Message me.

Thanks for the welcome. It's straight from the base in Texarkana. So the caps are identical to each other? I'm undecided on getting the $20 sensor caps or the $7 one you mentioned.

Pic 2, most likely the wire for the useless blackout light, which may or may not still be on the loader.
Pic 4, looks like that one belongs on top of the engine hour unit.
Pic 6, I'd get some caps off of whatever that fits, and not worry about the wires for the sensors.
Pic 9, no that's not typical to me. Clean it all up, then once the machine is running, find the actual source(s) for the leak(s).
Pic 10, no not really, and no not really. But they sure don't hurt.
Pic 11, be glad that it's the loader and not the backhoe. Do your best to measure the lengths correctly, then buy new ones at Surplus Center or somewhere similar.
Not all that expensive.

Hey, Speedwoble, do you happen to have the swivel couplings for the hose reel still? I have two leaky ones and trying to decide whether to replace or try to repair them.

mberetta, we´ve not so much time this weekend, but next week I will look for urgently needed parts for you. Think it is not so bad as it looks.
The grommet is still in the master cylinder, but thats right, you have to flush the whole system and see if the parts survived. One off is also the reservoir for the clutch mastercylinder.

I still have the whole reel assy. I figured I would sell it as a complete unit. A rebuild kit is available for it from the mfg.

Just started looking into this issue yesterday, so not up on manufacturer and such yet. But if your assembly is in good shape and at a reasonable price, I'm interested.

pic 13 I was assuming that this was an ether starting system
pic 14 I will get the drill and a wire brush. Are the smaller wires add-ons, or are they original?
pic 15 Just to the right of the gas pedal there is an access hole (with a missing cover). Is this original? Looks poorly cut.
pic 16 nothing too interesting. Had to order key. Ignition tumbler was seized up. Should have used graphite, but used what I had on hand (WD-40). Loosened up and turns.

pic 18 wasn't aware of the battery disconnect. Need to order a key. Was also seized up, but worked after a little lube. $16 on expedition imports seems a little steep.
pic 19 Not sure what I'm pointing at. Some sort of tube. Another dipstick tube?
pic 20 under dash
pic 21 unknown electrical connector
pic 22 broken reservoir bottle. I've found prices as low as $65 but I question whether or not I would receive a reservoir in return for my money. Some appear to be Mercedes dealers but upon closer inspection I have serious doubts.

It sits 150 miles away. So, naturally I want to get it up and running ASAP so I can work on it at home without killing 5 hours each time driving there and back. Thanks for looking! More tomorrow.

I am going up Saturday to work on this. I will check anything that you guys recommend and take pictures if there are any requests.
