Problem getting a title

Just another reason when I buy a vehicle the FIRST question I ask is does it have a clean title? No title, it is a rolling stack of parts.

I honestly did not think it would be an issue, I've skipped title on lots of cars. He had all the paper work and gave it to me along with a bill of sale. I just didn't know that it's only good for the original purchaser.

i am also having problems getting a title / my hmmwv is legit / i bought it from the guy who went to auction in 1999 and got it / but it set on his farm for 15 years / i have a paper trail of bill of sales all proper. texas wants me to do a bonded title / thinking of other ways to do it any suggestions?
