    Even with perfectly clear weather that's an IFR Final Approach with all that flying earth obscuring ANY visual sensory perception.

    Ahab the tests were conducted at the Space X test facility in Boca Chica, Texas.

    Test very near 2559'57" N
    97 9' 21" W

    Texas, on the Gulf of Mexico, just about as South as one can go and not be in Mexico.
