Airborne M135

I have this posted in another thread put thought I would put it here. Everytime I see an M135 I can help but think of this part in RAMBO. Just think if he would of had a 5 ton!

Note that the truck starts to jump JUST before hitting the car. That's because the stunt crew put a ramp there to help the truck go up and over the patrol car to make it look cooler. Otherwise it would have simply rammed it, knocked it off the road, and it would have been less dramatic.

...or more dramatic, if the car is not knocked from the street immediatly but gets cought under the front bumper or the truck starts to roll over it...

Did you notice how unbalanced the front wheels wobble after becoming airborne? The driver surely had bad shakes on the steering wheel during that, adding to the alreday high adrenalin rush!

My Rambo tape at home is worn out in that spot from rewinding that clip so many times. I love it. I think I will hold off jumping any cars with my M135 for now though. But it's cool to be watching a movie with friends and be able to say " I have one of those"!!!

That was a strange movie.....never did understand most of it.

and .. I have the DVD.. the gas take falls off!!!! you can see it just start to do that in the clip but the movie you can see it hit the ground.

I wonder how they kept it from down shifting when it started up the ramp.... LOL
