1078 in or around Minneapolis mn?

Anyone have an m1078 in or near Minneapolis MN? I want to take a look at one up close and pick someone's brain in person as I'm seriously thinking about getting one

Nothing even remotely close huh? Any MV owners around the area?

I have a CUCV II in N Minneapolis. A Chevy Tahoe is a far cry from M1078 2 1/2 ton Truck. I do know a gent up in the Duluth area that was a Transportation Officer in SW Asia Theater that could give you some answers.

I don't see many of those around here. But then again lots of people that probably have them also don't post much or at all on SS. I just checked craigslist for "Stevenson" and saw one in Winsted MN. You could check out iron planet also and see if any are up for auction at Camp Ripley in Little falls and then just go preview one. Otherwise you could ask Scott (Tie6044) who lives in Blaine. If anyone knew who might have one in the area, I bet it would be him.
