    Default WWII Armor

The vid is short (under two minutes), and admittedly kind of dramatized over-the-top by the soundtrack.

But if you tone down the volume (or even shut it off), this is some footage of an impressive Panzer prototype that I'm guessing never went beyond prototype.

And I'm also guessing it was fortunate that it did not (go beyond prototype).

    You're not kidding.

I'll see if I can find out some more about it, and then post it up.

    Here's something.

    It was serious armor.

    The proposed main armament was a 15cm piece (that's a 6" gun):

Yeah it was a serious machine both defensively and offensively.

Found one other vid that's not too long (5 minutes +/-). The soundtrack (like the other) is a little strange.

I'm guessing there was only one prototype made, and that's the one in both vids so evidently there just "ain't" no more:

Pure scrap just like these Jagdtigers.

Out of fuel, out maneuvered tactically or operationally, out of support, out of spares, hit by artillery, hit by aircraft, stuck in the mud due to weight, stuck on the wrong side of the river because the bridge won't hold the weight, and overall out of hope.
