Huh... I thought he meant 'work'. My wife probably deserves more credit for tolerating me than I give her if 'wife' wasn't the 4-letter W-word that sprang to mind.

You win the prize (what prize)... But Wife is a good guess.

She was very tolerant of letting me to have a hall pass for 3.5 weeks! But she was telling that the Cats were driving her insane.

This was a fun trip. I hauled the 1944 Bedford from Seattle to Chicago for drop off. Took a couple days with family and joined back with them in Springfield Illinois for a couple of days. We were having a charging problem with the Bedford. Its generator didn't like to go so slow, so it died at an intersection, Mike the driver got out on the right side, me on the left and as I looked past Mike, a Police officer had pistol drawn yelling at a suspect to get out of a car. Asked Mike to get on my side of the truck. The man behind us put a quick tow strap on us and we were out of there. Mike told me that you don't see things like that in New Zealand. We just wanted to make sure he had the full American experience.
