I'm looking at getting an a1 could I use my gooseneck with a 5th wheel adapter? Or does it sit to high?

I've got a couple of military truck tractors. I also have a gooseneck. I think the best way to tow the gooseneck with an M931 is to tuck a gooseneck ball low between the frame rails.
I think Justin Wehring did one that way. Someone did, and it was very slick. Let me go look....

Yea so you think towing it from the 5th wheel would be too high? Might just buy a new pintle hitch trailer, just towing my skidsteer which is 13k

If your gooseneck is adjustable you may get it dialed in.
Swapping tires may also lower it enough.
Or you sure won't break the pintle....

i didnt try, but someone else tried and couldnt break it with a car at about 40mph, lol... its all that and a bucket of chicken
another green iron guy hauls a heavy skidder on a 1061 trailer behind a 5t dump and has zero issue.

I've towed an M925A1 with the bed full of engine blocks on towbar on the pintle. M925A1 is something like 23,500 and there was every bit of 10k in the bed of the towed truck.
