    Update....... The DFA has sort of changed their stance and released a new opinion on Humvee titling/registration. Here is the pdf of it.

    Yes it seems to be. We are still going to look at creating an MV friendly registration though.

    There is a offical document that states these meet or exceed federal
    motor vehicle safety standards . But what yall got allows yall to title them so its good in my eyes . Our state omv did not care about the government document stating it met requirements . They did not care

    The letter from the state attorney is dated April - is this still the current position of the state? Is anyone actively working on drafting MV legislation?

    The new opinion, yes. And yes to the actively working on drafting MV legislation. We plan on it for the next legislative session which starts next year. There was an attempt back in 2013 but there wasn't much support. This time there is a lot more support.
