Glad you brought this thread back. I had completely forgotten about the 3 freezers I bought Haha I need to mess with them some.

I too had forgotten to follow up on this.
I got a pair of these Chrome batterys off eBay for like $80 shipped.
They are 22ah as it was the largest I could find with confirmed exact measurements to fit.
I'm very pleased with them, with a full charge it will freeze for 24hrs with 20% battery left. Cooling I went 30hrs down to 20% battery. Ambient temperature was about 80°.
I've strapped it onto a 36x18 movers dolly to move around.

I suppose I should post what mine has been doing. Since my last test here, I've been running my unit in deep freeze mode ever since. It has worked great. No problems at all. Keeps the temp at -23C . I just wish I had bought the other one at that price then !
This unit is going into my S250 shelter which is now mounted in my M105 trailer.

Thank you Rustystud. Great log on the ax56l.

Now that she has run for 8 hrs, she is also steady at -23.1c in freeze mod. I loaded up the software, but get a runtime error, maybe it doesn't like win.10.

I for sure need to replace both back up batteries, and thanks to 69birdman, I have a confirmed source. Also need to replace the mem back up lithium and the cover.

I am going to keep my eyes peeled, there are many many more in the for sale pipe,

Check the voltage on the small battery, both of mine took a charge and show 3.6v . Otherwise they too can be found on EBay for a few bucks.
Rusty, great to hear yours has been running along perfectly.
I haven't used mine but a few times hauling beer to outing, takes up the rear of my Tahoe, it was a hit with my buddies. The other one works perfectly as well, I have a partial trade in the works for an 831a for it, and he wants to get his own replacement batterys.

I just picked one of these coolers up from the recent auction of these on govplanet. Wasn't in the picture but the refrigerant was drained and labeled on the side with a little sticker. Now I get to refill it. I have experience so I'm not super stressed about it. I contacted the manufacturer about refrigerant and volume to use. Hope this helps someone else. AcuTemp has been absorbed by CSafe Global.

According to their specialist, the system contains 10.5 oz of 134-A refrigerant.

Take some photos if you don't mind. Are you going to do a nitrogen purge first? Attaching fittings?

I just got one in its drained too. Havent opened it to see the connections. I was just going to vac it down and charge it to spec. Thanks for the details. I have some older programs I have been able to run in win10. You can set it for xp compatibility mode and the program will usually work.
