Sooooo. I have been doing odd and end maintenance here and there on the deuce. My dipstick is telling my the oil is at the correct level. When I drained it (because of the metal shavings in the oil). So how harmful can that be on the engine? Can I just try and run it for a little bit and drain it and fill it again and it be alright?

Flush the engine and change the oil filters. But first, You should remove inspect and clean the sump, (And) At that point check for damage or obvious wear.
