I have the Saginaw 710 power steering kit from Waterloo Specialties... I’m having the tires put on and they are hitting the pitman arm.

also, will dual 177 fit in the rear... I was told yes when I bought them... now I’m being told otherwise. Please help

If the tires are the same size as what was there I don't know why there would be an issue. I'm actually considering using commercial drive tires all the way around when I change to singles.

As for the steering kit, I am not familiar with that mod but again are the tires the same size and on the same wheels ( width and offset at least ) as before the kit ?

I have a friend who put 177s on his truck with the Waterloo kit. The left front did mildly rub the arm. He remounted the front tires on M135 rims which have a couple inches of offset and that took care of it. Alternatively you could adjust the axle stops but they're welded in position, so it would be a little more work.

The rears are fine but most will rub the trunnion cap bolts. See Valence's thread.

Clinto : Original tires versus G177s

Thanks Clinto, I wasn't sure if he got 177's to match the original size or went bigger. No different than trying to fit 35's on a stock K10 / 20 / 30. One mod effects everything else.

I really like the looks of the G177 with duals on the rear and using A3 rims with 365 (14.5) on the front. That requires two spares, but darn I like the flotation and no rubbing issues (a wider stance too).

They can be dualed

Pictured is Elijah95's truck while it was still owned by Atomic. Taking these tires off 5 ton wheels wasn't bad. Breaking down old tires off of the deuce rims was a pain but that's what friends are for. I was glad when we finished that project.
