Need help with your comments for deciding to buy an M38A1 in Italy - or not!

Hi All,

I came across this M38A1 for sale in northern Italy. It is a 1961 and could be a Dutch assembled Nekaf. Its chassis number is MD67341.
Can anyone tell me if this number corresponds to the year of manufacture (1961)? I have posted some pix of the jeep for you guys to view and comment so that I can then decide if I should travel to where the jeep is and check it out.
