Vietnam Appreciation Day JBLM 11 AUG 2018

Joint Base Lewis McChord will be hosting a Vietnam Appreciation Day on 11 AUG 2018 at the old Ft. Lewis Museum. Event will go from 1000 - 1600. Vietnam Veterans, families and people with an interest in military history are encouraged to attend. The Museum has invited outside the gate military historians to come and share their vehicles, equipment and displays for this event. So far the list looks like 1- PBR, M813, 2- M715's, M38A1 and 3-5 M151's. Plus various gear and uniform displays. This is a free event. Check the Ft. Lewis Museum FB page for directions. There will be a gate available behind the Museum so that normal access passes will not be required.

Mission accomplished. For me the best part was listening to stories of the guys that met up and covered some of the same water or land 50 years ago. This was a wonderful event sponsored by the Ft. Lewis Military Museum. Great tribute to the Veterans of the Vietnam war.
