Body work - what gauge is the steel on an M211?

So I was inspecting the body of the cab and we're going to need some significant bodywork done. What is the thickness of the panels and is CRS sheet metal OK, or is it something special? Just wanted to get prepped for this weekend, it's looking like we're taking apart most of the cab and rebuilding it.

I think we'll be spending most of the weekend listening to the air compressor try to keep up with the air needle for blowing out all the junk that's been settling in the cracks and crevices for the past decade too; there's some serious work there.

I don't remember the gauge of the metal on the M211 I had, but I know it was very thin (18 maybe?) and the welder I had would blow holes through it when I tried to weld in new metal. I had to get a lower heat/power range welder to work on it.
