I would think the trucks would need commercial insurance and the truck owners would need to be hired as the drivers. It wouldn’t work out well having some random person run the trucks. A few weeks of heavy use could really wear down tires and other consumables. This would need to be priced in.

They might have a requirement that they run before renting or buying them.

Like I said, if they want to pay me as much to rent it as I'm trying to sell it for then they can trash it and I'll sell what's left over for parts. But it won't move out of the driveway without a contract in hand specifying that they pay me X amount PLUS provide their own insurance for it. I doubt it will happen so it doesn't really matter one way or the other.
