MEP-806B CIM and screen issues 60kw help

Readers I have a very near new 806B but the screen will not load with information or auto fill in any operating information such as water temp, oil pressure the gages show up just no information is displayed. As can be expected the TM is no real help, it proffers I should simply go to the next higher command and order a new CIM or screen. All suggestions welcomed and thanks in advance.. mac/mc

is there a little decal near the top right of the cim that says ‘p27 taped?’

Can you take a picture of what your screen shows? Also, it your batteries are not charged up tip top, the CIM will not load up properly.
