A tan version of my Mk2 soft slant back is here for sale. Was made for another member who changed plans.

I make these myself. Here is the thread that explains how I developed the design: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showth...Top-Slant-Back
This thread has some more facts and figures in it: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showth...ion&highlight=

Some quick factoids: each one uses 3.5 yards of 1000 Dernier nylon, 70 yards of thread, about 15 feet of webbing, about 20 of velcro (hook and loop paired), one yard of 40ga clear vinyl, 50 of steel conduit, and 26 D rings. All seams are double stitched and the bottom edges are rollover stitched.
It takes me about 16-18 hours all told to make a frame and sew a soft back.

I use as much MilSpec material as I can get my hands on via surplus channels (I don't buy nearly enough to buy from a Govt vendor!).

The price is $375 plus S&H to your door. I use FedEx, and it runs between $35 and $65 depending on distance from Alexandria, Virginia.

This slant back is complete, and ready to ship. Pictured is the actual item.
