Do you think your cab is all the way open? It is probably not and therefore is not locked and is not safe.
There is a oblong part that must rotate inside the top part on the cylinder. It is rusted to the bolt and cannot turn.
Loosen bolt, apply penetrating oil, rotate bolt. Apply grease inside opening, top and after it moves, bottom.


DO NOT GET YOUR FINGERS ANYWHERE NEAR THESE PARTS OR YOU MAY SERIOUSLY REGRET IT.
