Why are you raising the windshield?

I'm 6'4" and can't see through the top of the windshield frame.

I have been working on mine for a bit, little at a time. I got sidetracked splitting my brakes which is now complete. Cab is welded in, floors patched, 105 trailer bed on. Now I need to get back to finishing my roof and skinning it.

Can you show more detail on the floor and how you made all the sub structure? I’m looking forward to seeing how you patch the roof in too! Great work btw,
