Dryer is the new style and new about a year ago. Maybe 40 miles on it. The pop off valve was working right up to draining the three tanks.

Question . What turns on the air compressor ? I thought it was the lack of a air pressure and at the limit valve. (may not have the name right) Could this control be stuck in the pump off position ?

As for the power steering,I will need to try it. It did up to being parked.

When the wet tank had air I could not get air flow from the big or little line. But it did leak ahead of the control valve as I was getting ready to remove it to take a closer look. That is when I drained the tank. This is also the point when I fired up the truck to see about air flow and got nothing.

And I still need to know what "TM" to use. Please.

That is where I'm headed. Bet their would be less problems if I was using it as a daily driver.

rig up a air gauge to the rear of the compressor first.. IF you cant hear your compressor knocking then smack the governor with a ballpen hammer. You should be able to hear it knocking to build air.

Different vehicle type but the same idea and diagnostics.

The lube turns into hard pieces and gets stuck in places. I would start with seeing if there is air going from the compressor to the air dryer. Small steps.

Spraying stuff in the unloader will just cause it to fail. Member Elijah learned that the hard way
