Hello all! My name is Tim and I recently picked up a 1956 Mack M54a2 5 ton. The truck appears to be in really good shape, and drives really good down the road. Fires right up every time and doesn't seem to have any major issues. A quick question upon testing the truck, the 6x6 front axle engagement doesn't seem to be working. Can anyone tell me where to check first for this issue? I am still learning about the truck but excited to be a new member on the forum and look forward to lots of fun and enjoyment out of this old rig. Thanks in advance for your help!

Nice truck! Does the inside of the cab look as good as the outside?
Thanks!! It does! No rust, all gauges work most of the time, and the previous owner put in a suspension seat for the driver... it came with no passenger seat so me and a buddy rigged up one with the factory driver seat base, and a car seat from a 1983 Datsun lol!

Any thoughts on the value of my truck?
