I have the solargizer, mounted the panel on the shelf in front of the passenger side windshield. Keeps everything topped up perfectly. I’m gone for 2-3 months at a time and the 5 ton always cranks right up for me when I get home.
I am just getting familiar with MV's and my deuce. A picture of that set up would be nice if you have it handy. Thanks

My fear is having one plugged in and trying to drive away... with it attached, at least with big cables. One of the nicer 5 ton trucks I had had someone take off wile the slave cable was attached. Not good.

Wondering what to do . Maybe I'll put a plug at the front and rear to feed line power that would pull away, "unplugging" it. With stress relief and a straight pull, a 120v or 240v could dis-connect.

Thinking about having AC is making me consider having an on-board buzz box welder and distribution for grinders and such.

As I get older I hate being cold so I plug in my F350 if it's getting below 40, always hang the cord over the drivers side mirror, haven't forgotten it yet.

A buddy had a thing to hang on the rear view mirror "BICYCLE ON ROOF" after an unfortunate encounter with a fast food drive through.

I have a small idea (I have a very small brain). Maybe someone can build a smaller cheaper battery charger that you can throw on your 5 ton that will keep each of your 4 batteries when the temp has been below zero for the last month.

Howdy,

I run the extension cord through the tractor door handle anytime the heater is plugged in. Can't get into the tractor without removing the cord from the block heater.

I would be in for a setup. As mentioned February was very cold. I am worried Sarabell might not have tolerated well.
