Installing the Snake River power steering kit on a 1954 M-37. With the power steering pump installed the original pivot arm to the 24 volt generator will not work.
I've cut the steering column and mounted the Saginaw steering gear and the power steering pump but what do I do for a pivot/adjuster arm for the generator ? I'm
thinking I may have to fabricate one that will curve under the pump and then straighten out again. Any advice I can get is much appreciated. Thanks .

I would call or Email Tom and ask him.
He will gladly tell you what you need to do.

Having not done the swap myself, if you think modifying or making a new arm
Will solve your problem, then do it.

Tom
