Jumping for f'n, joy..

I tracked down the transmission double ** and no display problem.

Simply, electrical control cable input at base of tepss was loose. Once i unhooked it and reinserted, all my problems went away. Drove it to the original drop off location and back, about 2 miles

I am so freaken happy,

coachgeo-thank you very much for the prod-

Wheelspinner-have you made any progress

While i was on a roll, decided to take a look at the non functioning ctis module. Looks like we had a little fire.

I pulled all the goo out off it to see

Today was a great day..a SS Brother in Arms came to my rescue and sent me a CTIS Module, no name, a PO box in Ashville NC.
Who ever you are, thank you brother!.....I wont post any additional info about you.

After checking out the part numbers, and they matched, I took it out to the truck, and plugged her in. I now have flashing single light and all mods select-able. Now i just need to do some additional trouble shooting to why i have no working inflate or deflate.

Also, a great day, mail call

Recd these HET CTIS covers thanks to fleaBa. A little nip and tuck and they just might work, bolt holes look like they will line up, but they wont.

got to do some slicing and dicing, but great platform to start with

Today was spent trouble shooting CTIS, and after a few hrs, think i have stumbled on the problem. I found that the right rear CTIS LINE TO TOP OF HUB WAS BROKE CLEAN OFF at the connection, hose only..Will get a line and see if that solves my problem.

Question, as a test, can i by pass the pressure switch just by jumping the two wire connector

"think i have stumbled on the problem."
Myself, I will take lucky over good any day if it saves me time and frustration. Here's to many more "lucky" problem fixes!

BTW, you are making me very jealous. I was hoping to be working on our M1083 at the pace you are going. Unfortunately, I decided to go back to work at a "real job" for a while just to stash away some extra funds for the truck. But I will definitely be watching your progress with interest. Both for the good info and to do a little vicarious living. :jumpin:

Keep up the great work, Bill
