fuel tank valve

1986 m931 tractor anybody know which direction the valve handle points behind the seat for left and right tanks? does the long part of the handle point towards tank being used? also if its kept in the middle will it draw from both tanks equally?

No it will not. Whatever end the pointer on it is pointing at is the tank itd drawing from. This would be opposite of the handle side. Unless someone put the handle on wrong

The long handle is towards drivers door other small end towards pass side. So I believe this is gonna draw fuel from pass side?

The dash guage is where the fuel gauge is looking, which may or may not be where the fuel is being drawn from. There's a switch on the dash that moves the fuel gauge back and forth.

As you know, the lever on the floor is what controls where the fuel is being drawn from.
