Bad news for me. Reverse, 2nd and 5th gear positions of shifter hit the underdash unit even with supplied brackets maxed out. Options are to offset unit to the passenger side and fabricate brackets, or alter shifter dimensions and angles.

Dunno if it helps you, but when I ran into this issue with my M37 (shifter encounter the dash after mods), I heated the shift lever up with a torch and bent it just a hare. It took about 5 miles to get used to and then I forgot about it until I read your last post.

Thanks for the info. That's definitely one of my options.

Good looking install. I used to install A/C units in vehicles when I was in Phoenix AZ.
