Default Looking for a 2.5-ton cargo truck

Looking for some flavor of a cargo M35. I prefer the truck to be anywhere within 4 hours driving distance of Geneseo, NY (~150-200 miles).

EDIT: I removed the M900 series trucks from my post since NY requires a CDL for their full air brakes. I don't have my CDL yet.

EDIT 2: Reduced truck size to 2.5-ton due to New York State licensing requirements.

Lotsa luck finding any 40+ year old MV in upstate NY that isn't completely rusted out. Check with motor vehicle authorities in NY to see if a CDL is not required for farm use, RV, or historical vehicle. If you get commercial plates a CDL is required because the vehicle's RATED weight exceeds 26K#. Straight air brakes such as 900 series also require airbrake endorsement, Most states have adopted the Federal standards by reference to keep those highway trust funds coming their way.

I actually talked to DMV about this the other day. For a 5-ton, a non-CDL class C license is required, and it doesn't require a road test. But for M900 series trucks, I definitely need at least a class B CDL due to the air brakes.

I have a really nice M813A1 that is 188 miles per google maps.
    It has a winch.
Brand new 14.00 x 20 super singles on combat rims.
    drop side bed,
    heater
    hard top
    rear cargo cover
    troop seats and bows
    spring seats
no major rust just some surface stuff.

Thank you for the replies everyone. Unfortunately, I had to reduce the size of the truck I'm looking for due to licensing requirements in New York State. It turns out I was given the wrong information about the non-CDL class C license. It seems now that regardless of whether the vehicle is historical or for personal use only, I need at least a class B CDL to drive a vehicle over 26,000 lbs GVWR. I updated my OP to reflect that.

I found my 5ton on Facebook market of all places, it was in another state & the seller worked with me. I had Wes on here transport her to me & its one of the best deals I've made in awhile.

I'll take it you have exhausted the classified ads...there were a couple near you that are very nice.
