Heater /AC hoses inlet or outlet?

Stupid mistake of the day goes to....me!




I replaced the heater unit in the dash with an AC unit. When I disconnected the hoses from the engine, I neglected to label inflow or outflow. The core has it marked, just not the hoses from the engine side.




Any clues or tips on determining which should be which?
