The Deuce TM lists its wheel nuts in the expendables that are to be tossed and put new ones on wheel change.
I know I did read that in the TM somewhere.
I found the Deuce just had its nuts put back on, looked like without even cleaning or any 30# oil on them.
They must have use a one inch impact until it ran out of air, sure were tighter than 450 ft lbs torque on there.
It was a turkey to closely examine all the LH + RH studs and nuts and studs for damage. Replaced quite a few of the capnuts and thimbles.
The studs were OK, seems the capnuts are the waster pieces.
Must be the metallurgy of it.
