My rig is now almost completely stripped to its chassis. Need to relocate the trans cooler and make a decision on re-positioning the induction tract/spare carrier vs stock configuration- then it's on with the build. YAY!!

Sounds like a great project, Chris!

May I suggest that any details about your build be posted into a fresh "build thread" rather than here. SS Classified threads/posts (Including pay-it-forward) "disappear" once the the item is no longer available.

It would be disappointing if such good information about your build vaporized prematurely.

    Thanks for your consideration.

I look forward to hearing more and keeping up with your project.

No worries John, I saw this was a temporary forum and will eventually start an actual thread for the project. Not much to show at this point though, so a build thread would be rather boring.

    John, something like this?
That's my M200-plus-takeoff-5th wheel dolly. Built by Airbornebandsman, then passed on to me. Useful for pulling the M146 behind the M813.

    Cheers

Yup! Thought I'd throw the idea out here for others to consider these FREE parts.

For me it's a LOW priority project behind a whole list of others I think about.

What's the M200 Axle Weight Rating? Is it enough for a loaded trailer, or just for jockeying empties??

The military rates the M200 as a 2.5 ton trailer.

I think it is the same axle as the M105 and it is rated at 10,000lbs.
