Good morning Gents, i have come across and issue with a few fault and warning codes that i can't find in the 10 and 24P manuals for these new 10K's

WARNING-427: CAN DataLink Degraded "communication between ECM and another device on the Sae J1939 datalink has been lost"
ACTIVE FAULT- 781: CAN DataLink Failed "Sae J.1939 Data Link 2 Engine network-abnormal update required"
WARNING- 2545: KeySwitch Reset Required "Unable to establish communication with engine"

If anyone that's familiar with these codes help me out i would really appreciate it a lot!! These are preventing the Genset from starting and i cannot find what the codes mean in the TM's

Howdy,
It sounds like you have a major failure between the DCS (digital control system) and the wiring.

Remove the DCS, and remove the 3 connected wire groups, probably undo the ground strap and clean it up too.

Look over each of the plugs, and look to make sure no one has smooshed over any wire contacts. Do the same with the back of the DCS.

Re-connect ground strap, and re-connect all plugs, aligned properly, they have blocks so they align, and tighten the rings.

Re-install the DCS and see what ya got then.

Everything about this post screams to me "Never sell your MEP for an AMMPS". I hope you can get your machine squared away though!
